Dr Maureen A. Zelinka, MD
Dr. Maureen Zelinka was raised in Hollywood, Florida and became a Registered Nurse in 1970. After her stent as a nurse, and a drive to continue her education in the medical field, she went back to school to earn her Medical degree in 1984 and finished her residency in 1987 in Internal Medicine.
Her career led her to a position at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, FL where she practiced Emergency Medicine and soon became Co-director of the emergency room at the Medical Center.
After several years of working as an ER Physician, Dr. Zelinka opened her private Internal Medicine practice, building and treating patients, eventually expanding by bringing in Nurse Practitioner's and General Care Nurse’s to extend services to Family Medicine. This office now serves the Tri-County area offering services in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine and a walk-in Medical Care Center for patients seeking immediate care.
